The Portalbuzz search allows you to search pulling from various elements in the database. Please note that this example shows how to search for invoices. However, all searches in the Portalbuzz system are performed in the same way.
Each search page shows available search terms:
When starting a search, you first define how you will search and then narrow the search by defining the information you need. For example, you may want to search for a current member with the first name of Anne.
1. Click in the Search textbox (under Find and select member you want to send an invoice to) and wait until the blue box appears. Type the first few letters into the search box and wait for the options to appear in the drop-down menu below. In this case you will type in Fir for Firstname.
2. When Firstname appears in the drop-down list, select it so that you can search by the first name. The cursor will automatically move to the next textbox located to the right.
3. Type the entire first name, in this case, “Anne”, into the new textbox and click return on your keyboard. Make sure that the criteria shows a trash icon before proceeding.
4. Review the information in the search box to confirm the correct query. Click the Search button. The search results will show at the bottom of the page.
In this example, you only need to enter one criteria, the first name. However, this powerful search tool can perform more complex and customized searches using additional criteria and requirements.
All search pages in Portalbuzz work the same way. Once you understand how to search, the method allows you to quickly create custom queries to see the specific results that you need.
New! You can now search by Billing Code. In the search box, just type billing code or select it from the available search terms below. Type the first few letters of the billing code into the search box and wait for the options to appear in the drop-down menu. Review the information to confirm the correct query then click the Search button.
